Book Formatting

When new authors decide to format their own books, they don’t always understand the requirements and complexities of the project.

Formatting your own book can be challenging. There are important conventions that need to be followed so that your book presents correctly in both print and electronic formats. There are also trade practices, and guidelines provided by specific publishers such as Amazon or Lulu.

More often than not, readers are subconsiously aware of various book constructions and they will mentally ‘label’ a poorly formatted book as an amateur publication.

So get off to a good start with a professionally formatted novel that is designed for your chosen publishing platforms.
